Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Compliance
At Six15 Technologies, we are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our products and operations. As part of that commitment, we comply with the European Union’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive (2012/19/EU), which governs the proper collection, treatment, recycling, and recovery of electronic products at end of life.
What Is The WEEE Directive?
The WEEE Directive is a European Union regulation that requires manufacturers of electronic equipment to support environmentally responsible disposal and recycling of electrical and electronic devices. It aims to minimize the volume of e-waste going to landfills and promote reuse and resource recovery.
How Does Six15 Comply With WEEE?
Six15 Technologies complies with WEEE requirements in the following ways:

Product Marking: All applicable Six15 electronic products are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol, indicating they should not be disposed of with regular household waste.

Producer Responsibility: Six15 fulfills its WEEE obligations in EU countries by registering with national WEEE compliance schemes and financing the collection, treatment, and recycling of its covered products.

Return and Recycling: In countries where WEEE applies, Six15 offers solutions for customers to return end-of-life devices for proper recycling in accordance with local laws and environmental standards.
What Products Are Covered?
WEEE applies to Six15 Technologies commercial line of electronic products sold into EU member states, including head-up displays (HUDs) and related accessories that are powered by electricity or contain electrical components.
How Do I Return a Six15 Product For Recycling?
If you are located in the European Union and wish to dispose of a Six15 product in accordance with the WEEE Directive, please contact us at support@six-15.com. We will provide return instructions or connect you with a local recycling partner.
What Happens To Returned Products?
Returned Six15 products are safely dismantled, and hazardous substances are properly managed in line with environmental regulations.
